Working with you to bring your floral visions to life in a beautifully natural style

Modern, relaxed, romantic style floristry

Thyme Lane Photography

I enjoy keeping flowers as they should be in their natural colours and free-flowing forms. I love working with a mixture of textures and trailing foliages to create a style that is romantic yet relaxed.

I work within the seasons and will always suggest the best blooms to use for the time of year. I’ll offer alternatives if you have your heart set on a particular flower that’s unavailable when you're getting married. I’ll also use some British and locally grown flowers where possible too.

Approach

Every wedding I work on is different, but I always follow the same approach. I like to get to know you so I can create wedding flowers that truly reflect your individual personality.

Together, I’ll guide you through the process of finding out your likes and dislikes (they’re important too!), along with offering my professional advice on enhancing your space.

Kind Words

My love for flowers started when I was 14 working at a garden centre that specialised in roses. From there, my passion and experience grew as I gained my floristry qualifications and spent invaluable time working in flower shops.

I then went on to design for some of our high-end retailers and was part of the team for a gold award-winning garden at the RHS Chelsea flower show.

Another highlight of my career was winning The Wedding Industry Award, ‘Wedding florist of the year’, for the East of England region. This was extremely special to me as I was nominated by all my couples I had worked with over that year.

You'll usually find me surrounded by flowers in my rather cold workshop - tucked away in St Ives town centre. I live in my dungarees and many layers of thermals that keep me warm, plus a constant supply of tea and biscuits to fuel my flower-filled life!
